Wine Tastings in Helsinki – Discover Your Own Way to Enjoy Wine

At Dagmar, you can explore the world of wine in a way that suits you.

Choose the relaxed “Wine Is Fun” tasting, where you’ll sample wines at your own pace and deepen your understanding in a relaxed setting. Or opt for the immersive “Sommelier’s Wine Tasting,” where an expert will guide your group through the stories and flavour profiles of the wines.

Self-Guided Tasting

Dagmar Bistro & Wine Bar’s self-guided “Wine Is Fun” tasting is a sensory journey into the world of wine tasting. It’s anything but stuffy, and there’s no need to pore over a rulebook.

We all have our own memories of aromas and flavors, and no two tasters are alike—but still, each of us can learn to discover wine’s famous earthiness and exotic fruits, or whatever else we want to learn to recognize!

There are only three rules for this tasting:

No right or wrong answers!
You shouldn’t argue about taste, but it’s worth discussing!
Have fun!

PRICE: 20 € / 3 wines, 6 cl each.

Book a table as usual through TableOnline and mention in the message field that you’re coming to enjoy the “Wine Is Fun” tasting, which tasting (sparkling, white, or red wine) you’ve chosen, and whether you’d like to have dinner after the tasting. For the “Wine Is Fun” tasting, the table reservation lasts 1 hour; for the “Wine Is Fun” tasting & dinner, it lasts 2.5 hours.

Sommelier’s Wine Tasting – A Surprise Tasting

Three wines selected by the sommelier offer an unforgettable surprise.

Our sommelier selects wines that suit the mood, and you won’t have a say in the theme or the wines themselves. However, we’ll certainly take your preferences into account—for example, if red wines aren’t among your favourites, we’ll choose something else, or if you love rosé, we’ll do our best to include it in the tasting.

Custom Wine Tasting – tailored to your group’s preferences

A custom wine tasting gives you free rein to decide on the theme around which we’ll build the tasting.

Would you like to explore the world of wine tasting, delve deeper into sparkling wines or natural wines, or take a tour of wineries in Italy, France, or the New World? Anything is possible—our sommelier will design the tasting based on your preferences, whether it’s a specific country, grape variety, or wine style!

3 wines – 50 € per person

4 wines – 60 € per person

5 wines – 70 € per person

Ravintolan tilat olivat erittäin siistit, tunnelma idyllinen ja viihtyisä, ja sijainti on aivan loistava.

Ruoka ylitti kaikki odotukset: alkuruoaksi valittu tartar oli todella maukas ja tasapainoinen kokonaisuus, ja pääruoan Angus-pihvi oli niin mureaa, että se suorastaan suli suussa.
Lämmin suositus kaikille hyvän ruoan, laadukkaan palvelun ja ihanan tunnelman ystäville. Tänne palataan ehdottomasti uudelleen!

Ainoa miinus, että perunapyree oli kotitekoisen muusin oloista, eli kuivaa ja kokkareista - ehkä siivilöinti jäänyt väliin? Toki muuten kokemus aivan upea, joten ei jäänyt harmittamaan. We ordered appetizers and main courses; they were quite good, but nothing special (shrimp for the appetizer and deer for the main course). The bread and butter served at the table were good. The wine list, which was sold by the glass, was limited, but several of the Italian wines were excellent.
